Became the most preferred electric vehicle in China

Chery EQ1 became the most preferred all-electric car, with sales of over 300,000 units in China.
As China’s leading automobile brand, Chery began independent research and development for new energy vehicles in 1999. After more than 20 years of development, Chery has gained a significant advantage in the industry with new energy passenger vehicle research, development and integration platform, four new energy vehicle platforms, five general subsystems, seven core technologies. It plays a leading role in the Chinese automotive industry in terms of new-energy vehicle integration, PHEV system design, lightweight construction technology, range extension and hydrogen fuel technology.
Complete command of EV vehicle technology
Over the years, thanks to its unique “V-shaped” development process and vehicle product development system, Chery has accumulated knowledge while making significant gains in battery, motor and electrical control system technologies. Chery got to the point of developing the ECU engine control unit, the HCU hybrid control unit, and the MCU engine control unit. Chery has used IGBT, SiC IC, MCU, motors and solid state batteries in the development of key parts and components for electric vehicle power systems.
Latest generation hybrid technology in new flagship
In February 2022, Chery’s first generation custom hybrid transmission, the 3DHT125, was made available with the TIGGO 8 Pro e+. Rechargeable hybrid system operating in the TIGGO 8 PRO e+ model; It consists of 1.5T turbo petrol and 3 electric motors and offers the highest torque value among Chinese brands with 510 Nm. Thanks to the system in question, TIGGO 8 PRO e+ offers a superior performance. The vehicle offers superior performance by completing 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 8.2 seconds with its dual driving mode. Despite this superior performance it offers, it exhibits an extremely environmentally friendly structure with an average fuel consumption of 1.55 lt/100 km and a fuel consumption of 6.5 lt/100 km without electrical system (power loss).
The new PHEV model TIGGO 8 PRO e+ will soon be officially available as Chery’s global flagship in the Brazilian, Middle Eastern and European markets.
In addition, Chery exhibited its third generation hydrogen fuel cell vehicle with 30 kW fuel cells that can fill hydrogen in 3 minutes and reach a range of over 700 kilometers at the 2019 World Production Congress.
