Apple is about to introduce a classical music app

Apple is working on an app specifically dedicated to classical music. It’s called Apple Classical and it appeared in the iOS 15.5 beta code.
Apple is working on enhancing its services dedicated to music. An app exclusively dedicated to classical music will soon arrive alongside Apple Music — it should be called Apple Classical.
The novelty was glimpsed in the code of the first beta of iOS 15.5, while we don’t know exactly when it will be presented to the public. Will it be one of the surprises of WWDC 2022 in June?
The iOS 15.5 beta code , distributed right now, contains some unequivocal references: “open Apple Classical “, or “open this content in the Apple Classical application” are two of the new commands introduced on the operating system — both are still dormant , obviously.
Last August, Apple had purchased Primephonic , an application dedicated to classical music enthusiasts with various functions designed for demanding users – such as advanced search not only by artist, but also by orchestra, year and much more. Apple had promised that the strengths of the newly purchased service would soon come to Apple Music.
We don’t know if the new app will be accessible simply by using your Apple Music subscription. Even if there are no confirmations, it seems very likely — it is unlikely that the company will decide to launch a second ad hoc, considering that it would be too niche a service. All that remains is to wait for the next official announcements from Apple to find out more.
