Annual inflation in the UK fell to 10.7 percent

It was reported that annual inflation in the UK slowed down to 10.7 percent in November.

In the statement of the British National Statistics Office (ONS) on inflation data, it was stated that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in the country increased by 10.7 percent in November after recording the fastest increase in the last 41 years with an annual increase of 11.1 percent in October.

CPI in the country increased by 0.4 percent on a monthly basis in November.

CPI in the markets was expected to increase by 0.6 percent on a monthly basis and by 10.9 percent on an annual basis in November.

In the ONS statement, it was stated that the decrease in automobile costs was effective in the decrease in inflation in the country as of November this year, and that fuel prices increased by 17.2 percent and food prices increased by 16.5 percent on an annual basis in the said period.
