Alan Wake 2 digital only? THQ Nordic offers to make the retail version
Remedy announced yesterday that Alan Wake 2 will be released digitally only to bring prices down. THQ Nordic, however, has already offered to publish the retail version of the game. After all, for the Austrian publisher, it would not even be the first time, given that it has dealt with the distribution of the physical copies of the first Alan Wake and basically, it would also be a way to meet the needs of that user who would like to be able to get their hands on on the packaged version of the game.
In a tweet, the publisher stressed that it would be an honor to have this opportunity and that many still appreciate the physical format.
We did the disc version of the original Alan Wake for PC back in the day,” wrote the publisher on Twitter. “And if there’s one person or company that doesn’t like the physical format , there are still plenty who do. Think about it! We’d love to do that, it would be a full circle and stuff like that.
We remind you that Alan Wake has returned to show himself at the PlayStation Showcase with trailer and release date , but we will have the opportunity to finally see him in action very soon during the Geoff Keighley show on June 8th.
Alan Wake will arrive on October 17, 2023 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X / S.
