A 7.1 magnitude earthquake struck Indonesia’s North Sulawesi region. A tsunami warning was issued after the earthquake.

According To The Statement Made By The Indonesian Meteorology, Climate and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.1 occurred in the North Sulawesi region.

The Earthquake, the epicenter of which is off the coast of Melongguane, was recorded at a depth of 64 kilometers. It was stated that after the earthquake that was felt strongly in the city of Manado, North Sulawesi, people rushed out in panic.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center warned of the risk of tsunami waves within 300 kilometers of the epicenter.
