6.2 magnitude earthquake in Indonesia

Indonesia Meteorology, Climate and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) announced that an earthquake of 6.2 magnitudes was recorded in East Java province at 13:07 local time.
The Earthquake, which occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers, was also felt from Bali Island. It was stated that there was no tsunami risk due to the severe shaking.

Local authorities reported that damage assessment studies have been initiated.
On the other hand, a 5.6 magnitude earthquake struck the Cianjur region of West Java province last month, killing more than 300 people.
Indonesia is located in the earthquake and volcanic belt called the “Pacific Ring of Fire”.
