In the statement made by the Ministry of Health of the KRG, it was announced that 4 people died in the explosion and 26 people were hospitalized.
It was noted that the student dormitory was located in the building where the explosion took place.
On 17 November, an explosion occurred in a house in Sulaymaniyah’s Kazive District due to a gas leak. It was reported that 15 people lost their lives and 12 people were injured in the house that collapsed as a result of the explosion.
