The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan announced that 4 Azerbaijani citizens lost their lives in the earthquakes that occurred in Turkey, and 395 citizens were evacuated from the earthquake zone.
4 Azerbaijanis died in earthquakes in Turkey
In The Statement Made By The Ministry Of Foreign Affairs Of Azerbaijan, it was reported that the evacuation process of Azerbaijani citizens from the country continues after two major earthquakes that caused great destruction in the surrounding provinces, the epicenter of which is Kahramanmaraş.
It was reported that 395 Azerbaijani citizens and their family members were sent to Azerbaijan by buses departing from Gaziantep, Kahramanmaraş, Adana and Hatay, and 183 of those evacuated arrived in Azerbaijan.
It was noted that 4 Azerbaijani citizens lost their lives in the earthquake, one of them will be buried in Turkey, and the necessary procedures have been carried out to bring the bodies of the other 3 to Azerbaijan.
