CD Projekt RED has released a gameplay trailer that shows for the first time the PS5 and Xbox Series X / S version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. As promised, the Polish studio showed all the news of the next-gen upgrade during today’s REDstreams event broadcast on Twitch. The video, which you can find below, shows the various visual improvements introduced with the next-generation console version. In fact, it is possible to notice better lighting management, improvements in particle effects, textures and much more.
The Nextgen Update of The Witcher 3, in fact, will introduce dozens of visual, performance and technical improvements compared to the original, including Ray Tracing, significantly reduced loading times and a series of mods integrated into the gaming experience.
But that’s not all: the new version will also include the addition of the Photo Mode and several optimizations in the combat system. There will be the possibility to increase the size of the subtitles and a more readable map. Official DualSense support on PS5 has also been confirmed.
Before leaving, we remind you that in addition to the next-gen version, the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch versions of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will also receive an update with numerous additions and improvements, as well as Netflix Witcher-themed additional content . The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is the third installment in the acclaimed RPG series starring Geralt of Rivia.
