The Presidency Digital Transformation Office has developed two applications for those who want to deliver aid and donate to earthquake victims.
With the Nearest Blood Donation Center application, it aims to help those who want to donate blood to people who were damaged by the earthquake. Blood donors will be able to learn the nearest blood donation center via the e-Government Gateway. The address, telephone and working hours information of the Turkish Red Crescent Blood Donation Center located at the nearest point will be displayed on the map. In addition, directions to the blood donation point selected on the map will also be available.
The “Earthquake Donation Campaign” aims to deliver cash donations safely to those in need. Those who want to donate will be able to donate through the e-Government Gateway using their credit cards, with two separate “Earthquake Donation Campaigns” services belonging to AFAD and Turkish Red Crescent . Thus, digital services for donation campaigns were made accessible. The e-Government Gateway will also provide three-dimensional security system (3D Secure) protection at the payment stage to those who want to donate.
Yesterday, the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Family and Social Services launched the Earthquake Assistance Mobilization (e-Mobilization) in e-Commerce, where priority products of the citizens who were damaged by the earthquake will be sold .
