10 people rescued from avalanche in Austria

In the avalanche disaster that occurred in the Lech/Zuers ski area in the Alps in Austria, 10 people were rescued under the snow.

In The Avalanche disaster that occurred at around 15.00 local time yesterday in the famous winter sports center in the Alps in Austria, 10 people were left under the snow.

In the statement made by the police, it was stated that 10 people were rescued within the framework of the search efforts in which many helicopters, search dogs and rescue teams participated.

Noting that the avalanche fell at an altitude of 2,700 meters in the Lech/Zuers ski area, the police said, “According to the latest data, we do not think there are more missing persons.”

The identities of the survivors, however, have not been released.
